Ch. 341King of the Night, Nekomamushi

Pedro and the Guardians discovered that Pekoms had returned to Zou with Big Mom’s crew, while Inuarashi explained that Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew were their benefactors. After reuniting with Nekomamushi, Pekoms learned that Jack had attacked Zou and pleaded with the Straw Hats to hand over Caesar and leave so he could appeal to Big Mom.

  • Pedro, Wanda, Carrot, and the Guardians recognized Pekoms, and they greeted one another as old Nox Pirates companions.
  • Inuarashi arrived and told Pedro that Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew were their benefactors, prompting Pedro and the Guardians to apologize for the misunderstanding.
  • Inuarashi led everyone toward Nekomamushi, while Baron Tamago and Capone Bege left Pekoms to continue their mission elsewhere.
  • Pekoms reunited with Nekomamushi, then mistook Luffy and his crew for the ones who had injured him.
  • Wanda explained that Jack had attacked Zou and that the Straw Hats had saved its people, so Pekoms thanked them and asked them to hand over Caesar and leave while he tried to persuade Big Mom.

Ch. 342Jack the Drought

Pekoms offered to take Caesar and let the Straw Hat Pirates leave, but Momonosuke refused to go before finishing his mission. Zunesha suddenly roared, and Moonlight revealed that Jack the Drought was attacking the elephant from the sea.

  • Pekoms told the Straw Hat Pirates that Big Mom had sent him to take Sanji, but said he would take only Caesar and let the crew leave.
  • Nami, Usopp, and the others questioned why Big Mom wanted Sanji, while Caesar begged the crew not to hand him over.
  • Luffy’s crew hesitated over confronting Big Mom, but Momonosuke, Kin'emon, and Kanjuro declared that they would stay.
  • Zunesha let out agonized roars, alarming the Minks, and Carrot ran toward the city outskirts.
  • Moonlight used Observation Haki to spot Jack the Drought and his men firing cannons at Zunesha’s wounded leg.

Ch. 343Zunesha Takes Action

Jack’s attacks left Zunesha close to collapse, but Momonosuke commanded the elephant to strike back and destroy Jack’s ship. Afterward, Moonlight suspected Momonosuke and Zunesha were connected to Uranus and resolved to seek more Poneglyphs.

  • Carrot returned and reported that Jack was attacking Zunesha, whose roars left the people on his back unable to fight.
  • Luffy, Momonosuke, and Moonlight heard Zunesha speak directly into their minds and ask them to command him to attack.
  • Moonlight told Momonosuke to give the order, and Momonosuke permitted Zunesha to attack.
  • Zunesha lashed Jack’s ship with his trunk, smashing it and sending Jack and his crew into the sea.
  • Moonlight connected Momonosuke’s ability to command Zunesha with the mystery of Uranus, then decided he needed more Poneglyphs.

Ch. 344Raizo

Momonosuke commanded Zunesha, but the giant elephant was badly injured, prompting the Straw Hats and Minks to organize treatment. Moonlight and Robin found a Red Poneglyph in Whale Forest and encountered Raizo, the samurai Jack had been searching for.

  • Momonosuke's command of Zunesha impressed the Straw Hats and the samurai, but Moonlight discovered that Zunesha's wounded leg could no longer walk.
  • Nekomamushi and Inuarashi organized the Minks to treat Zunesha, while Chopper and Luo prepared medicine.
  • Moonlight and Robin left the group and found a Red Poneglyph deep in Whale Forest; Baron Tamago and Capone Bege watched them depart.
  • Moonlight drew out a hidden man with a feint, and he recognized the man as Raizo, the samurai from Wano Country whom Jack had sought.

Ch. 345Red Poneglyph

Moonlight and Robin found Raizo guarding a Red Poneglyph, while the rest of the crew learned that Sanji had been taken by Big Mom’s crew. The chapter ended with Pedro identifying Capone Bege as the one who wounded Pekoms.

  • Raizo used a smoke bomb to hide from Moonlight and Robin, but Moonlight struck him from above with a Sword Aura and exposed him.
  • Robin mentioned Kin'emon, prompting Raizo to ask about him and recognize Moonlight and Nico Robin, while they studied the Red Poneglyph.
  • Chopper and the others treated Zunesha’s wounds, and Nekomamushi invited the crew to a feast.
  • Carrot and Wanda brought the wounded Pekoms to Chopper for treatment.
  • Pedro told the crew that Big Mom’s men had taken Sanji and that Capone Bege had wounded Pekoms.

Ch. 346Sanji's Resolve

The Straw Hat crew learned that Sanji had left them after Big Mom’s people took him, and Moonlight concluded he had been forced to protect someone. Luffy resolved to confront Sanji and Big Mom, while the gathered allies learned that Raizo had been found.

  • Nami and the others read Sanji’s letter saying he was leaving the crew, but Luo and Franky urged them to stay calm and meet Moonlight and Robin before acting.
  • Raizo appeared before Momonosuke and the others, bringing the number of gathered Nine Red Scabbards to five.
  • The crew found Moonlight and Robin studying the Poneglyph, and Moonlight said Sanji would not have left this way unless Big Mom had forced him.
  • Moonlight guessed that Big Mom had threatened the people at Baratie in the East Blue, and Luffy and the others understood why Sanji had gone.
  • Luffy declared that he wanted to hear the truth from Sanji himself and became furious at Big Mom.

Ch. 347Kozuki Family

Moonlight organized the Straw Hat Crew into two groups to rescue Sanji from Big Mom and infiltrate Wano Country, while Robin discovered that a Poneglyph linked Laugh Tale to the Kozuki Family. Momonosuke and Kin'emon revealed that they were members of that family, whose survivors had been sent twenty years into the future after Kaido and Wano's shogun hunted them.

  • Luffy insisted on rescuing Sanji, but Nami and Luo urged him to plan carefully, and Moonlight warned that Big Mom's territory was perilous.
  • Moonlight split the crew: he, Luffy, Nami, and Brook would rescue Sanji, while Robin, Usopp, Franky, Chopper, and Zoro would go to Wano with Luo.
  • Robin found that a Poneglyph pointed toward Laugh Tale and mentioned the Kozuki Family, prompting Franky and Luo to react to the name.
  • Momonosuke declared that the Kozuki Family had not disappeared, and Kin'emon revealed that Momonosuke was Kozuki Oden's son and that he and Kanjuro were Kozuki samurai.
  • Kin'emon explained that Kaido and Wano's shogun had hunted the Kozuki Family, and Kozuki Toki had sent them twenty years into the future with the Toki Toki no Mi.

Ch. 348Kozuki Toki

Kin'emon explained the Kozuki Family's history, the Road Poneglyphs, and how Lady Kozuki Toki sent the samurai twenty years into the future. After Kin'emon begged Luffy and Moonlight to help defeat Kaido, Luffy refused the plea but invited Momonosuke to form an alliance.

  • Kin'emon explained that the Kozuki Family carved the Poneglyphs and that the four Road Poneglyphs revealed the way to Laugh Tale.
  • Kin'emon revealed that he and the others were among Lord Kozuki Oden's Nine Red Scabbards and had traveled twenty years into the future through Lady Kozuki Toki's power.
  • Kin'emon bowed and begged Luffy and Moonlight to help Momonosuke take revenge on Kaido and Wano Country's shogun.
  • Luffy rejected Kin'emon's plea and challenged Momonosuke to come forward and form an alliance with the Straw Hat Crew himself.
  • Kin'emon and the others realized Luffy's words offered them an equal alliance rather than charity or pity.

Ch. 349Five Elders

Momonosuke asked Luffy to form an alliance so he could avenge his parents and reclaim Wano, and Luffy agreed. As the Straw Hats split up to rescue Sanji and prepare to fight Kaido, Red-Haired Shanks met with the Five Elders at Mariejois to discuss a pirate and the coming upheaval.

  • Momonosuke overcame his fear, asked Luffy to ally with him against Kaido, and clasped hands with him to form the alliance.
  • Luffy, Moonlight, Nami, and Brook set off aboard the Thousand Sunny to rescue Sanji, while the others traveled with Luo, Momonosuke, and Kin'emon of the Foxfire toward Wano.
  • More than 170 kings gathered at Mariejois for the Reverie as the Five Elders waited for an important visitor.
  • Red-Haired Shanks arrived and told the Five Elders that the sea was entering an irreversible era and that he wanted to discuss a certain pirate.
  • The Five Elders responded gravely that a great cleansing might be necessary if the world could no longer maintain its balance.

Ch. 350Carrot Boards the Ship

Carrot revealed herself aboard the Thousand Sunny and joined Luffy, Moonlight, Nami, and Brook on their voyage to Big Mom’s territory to rescue Sanji. After three days without supplies, they raided a Marine Base for food and escaped under Marine pursuit.

Ch. 351Marine Supernovas

Luffy and the others escaped a Marine base with a huge haul of food after Luffy defeated three Marine officers, while Vice Admiral Prod avoided a fight because Moonlight was present. Three days later, the crew ran out of food again, and Moonlight suspected a powerful Sea Beast was driving other creatures away from the surrounding waters.

  • Luffy drew a Marine pursuit while carrying an enormous sack of food, then fought Grant, Burnham, and Zephyr after they cornered him.
  • Luffy defeated the three officers, heard their names and vow to beat him someday, and left with Moonlight and the others.
  • Vice Admiral Prod explained that he had not attacked because Moonlight, the Straw Hat Pirates' one-billion-Beli vice-captain, was with them.
  • Aboard the Thousand Sunny, the crew stored their supplies, but Luffy's appetite and their lack of cooking skills depleted the food within three days.
  • Moonlight began fishing for the starving crew and suspected a ruler-class Sea Beast was keeping other sea creatures away.

Ch. 352Germa 66

Moonlight and the others caught a poisonous fish while starving at sea, leaving Luffy poisoned as they sailed toward Big Mom’s waters. They encountered Germa 66, where a woman resembling Sanji kissed Luffy and began drawing the poison out of him.

  • After three days without food, Luffy ate most of a brightly colored fish and collapsed from its poison.
  • Moonlight told Nami, Brook, and Carrot that Luffy’s antibodies from Magellan’s poison would keep him alive, so they hurried toward Big Mom’s waters to find a doctor.
  • A huge ship marked with the number 66 approached the Thousand Sunny, and Moonlight recognized it as belonging to the Vinsmoke Family.
  • A man in a green Raid Suit attacked the crew, but a pink-haired woman kicked him into the sea and landed on the Thousand Sunny.
  • The woman kissed Luffy and began absorbing the poison from his body as her butterfly-shaped wings glowed green.

Ch. 353Vinsmoke Reiju

Vinsmoke Reiju and Vinsmoke Yonji revealed that they were Sanji’s siblings and that the Vinsmoke Family planned to use him in a marriage alliance with Big Mom. Moonlight drove them away after they threatened the Straw Hat crew, and Brook began explaining Germa 66.

  • Vinsmoke Reiju revealed that she was Sanji’s older sister and introduced Vinsmoke Yonji as his younger brother, identifying them as members of Germa 66.
  • Vinsmoke Yonji said Sanji was to become a bargaining chip in a marriage alliance with Big Mom and warned Moonlight’s group to leave.
  • Nami, Brook, and Carrot defended Sanji, and Moonlight struck Vinsmoke Reiju and Vinsmoke Yonji with his sword, forcing them back to their warship.

  • Brook explained that Sanji belonged to the Vinsmoke Family, rulers of the Germa Kingdom, and Nami worried that Germa 66 had become another enemy.
  • Luffy woke from his poisoning, learned Sanji was a prince, and set out with the others to bring him back.
  • The crew reached Big Mom’s food-filled territory and landed on an island where rivers, rocks, clouds, and houses were made of edible treats.
  • Luffy and Carrot rushed into the Caramel café to eat, and Nami, Brook, and Moonlight followed after them.
  • Moonlight recognized Charlotte Pudding in a photograph inside the café and realized they had reached Sanji’s fiancée’s shop.
  • Luffy and Carrot ate through the café’s food and walls, causing the room to collapse just as a woman entered.

Ch. 355Charlotte Pudding

Luffy's group met Charlotte Pudding at her shop, where she revealed that she was Sanji's fiancée. After a mysterious disturbance shook Chocolate Island, Pudding said Big Mom had caused it, leaving Moonlight questioning her about Sanji's whereabouts and what had happened to Big Mom.

  • Nami apologized to Pudding for the damage to her shop, while Brook admired her and Moonlight recognized her as Charlotte Pudding.
  • Pudding sent away the Queen's Soldiers, then welcomed Luffy and Carrot's praise of her desserts.
  • A tremendous sound and shaking spread across Chocolate Island from the direction of Whole Cake Island, and Pudding said it was caused by Big Mom.

  • Pudding drew the group a detailed sea chart of the waters around Whole Cake Island, claiming she hoped they would stop Big Mom and help Sanji.
  • The five set off for Whole Cake Island, and Moonlight suspected Pudding was acting, though he said nothing.
  • After they departed, Pudding watched them go coldly and opened the third eye on her forehead.
  • Big Mom rampaged across Whole Cake Island, destroying buildings and desserts and killing people because she could not satisfy her craving.

Ch. 357Life or Stay

Big Mom’s rampage threatened Whole Cake Island until Jinbe fed her pastries and calmed her, then followed her to discuss something important. As the crew surveyed the damage, Katakuri wondered whether someone could defeat Big Mom, and a soldier reported that the Straw Hat Crew had entered the Bewildering Woods.

  • Charlotte Moscato tried to stop Big Mom’s destruction, but she drained his life when he could not provide pastries.
  • Jinbe gave Big Mom a box of pastries, calming her rampage and restoring her to normal.
