Dongzhou was a huge city.

Even bigger and more bustling than Pu Yu had imagined.

Towering buildings stood everywhere, traffic streamed through the streets, and people hurried past wherever she looked.

Following the directions on her admission letter, Pu Yu took the subway, transferred to a bus, and finally arrived at Dongzhou University.

An old-fashioned campus gate, tall plane trees, and a campus brimming with youthful energy.

It was truly beautiful here.

If only you were here.

The freshman registration area was packed.

Each college had set up booths and hung banners, with upperclassmen warmly greeting the new students.

"Are you a freshman in Chinese Language and Literature? Over here!"

Pu Yu completed her enrollment paperwork, collected her campus card and dorm key, and finally found her dorm room after some trouble.

Two girls had already arrived and were making their beds.

"Hi, I'm Lin Jia. I'm also studying Chinese Language and Literature." A short-haired girl greeted her with a smile. She seemed bright and outgoing.

"I'm Chen Sisi. I'm from here." The other girl was hanging a mosquito net. Hearing them, she turned around and smiled a little shyly.

"Hi, I'm Pu Yu."

"Pu Yu, where are you from?"

"Whitebank Town."

"Whitebank Town? I've never heard of it. Is it in the countryside?"

"Yes."

The conversation soon ended.

It wasn't that Pu Yu didn't want to fit in. She just didn't know how.

She knew nothing about the celebrities, TV shows, or cosmetics they discussed.

She had never taken a post-graduation trip, traveled abroad, or attended a summer camp like the ones they talked about, either.

After putting her things away, Pu Yu lay on the unfamiliar bed and stared at the ceiling.

*So this was college
