"The Undead World?"
Kong Deming swallowed and looked around. In this silent, dark world, a column of Skeleton Soldiers marched toward them, seemingly having noticed the sudden appearance of several unfamiliar presences and come to patrol their territory.
Even with his strength, he sensed a hint of danger in this world.
"That's right, though its name might change soon..." Xu Cheng patted the Skeleton Soldier before him. It was clearly an undead of the lowest rank, with strength only around that of a Soul Grandmaster. These chibi little things had nothing going for them besides their cute looks.
The skeleton abruptly snapped a military salute, as though subconsciously regarding Xu Cheng as the emperor he had once served.
But he used too much force, and his arm broke off, dropping to the ground with a clack.
"Heh..."
Xu Cheng chuckled.
"My teacher passed this world on to me. I can open the gate connecting the two worlds whenever I please, and even control the undead here through my spiritual power."
He snapped his fingers. The chibi undead guards shuffling about nearby instantly froze. Their leader swiftly picked up his own arm and snapped it back onto his shoulder, pretending nothing had happened.
"Rooaar!"
A dragon's roar rang out.
Ripples suddenly stirred across the distant, gloomy sky.
A Bone Dragon nearly a thousand meters long slowly parted the black mist and thrust his head out before them, looking down upon the group from above. A trace of his former pride lingered in his eyes, while eerie blue flames flickered in his hollow sockets.
"This is... a True Dragon bloodline! These undead were all dragons with exceptionally pure bloodlines when they were alive!" Jing Hongchen exclaimed.
"It's hard to imagine that such a vast Undead World was actually under your teacher's control.
