The next day.
Xu Cheng slowly woke.
With Head Maid Nana attending him, he washed up briefly, then stood before the mirror and let her straighten his clothes. With his hands free, he stared at his reflection, somewhat dazed.
His face was still handsome, but not quite flawless. Dark circles had formed around his eyes, seemingly from last night's excessive exertion.
Even now, his abdomen still ached faintly.
