[Fire Release: Flame Bullet]
Several massive fireballs burst forth, drawing the attention of Ginkaku's men. The instant Jiraiya unleashed his Fire Release, he followed it with Transparent Release, a ninjutsu he had developed as a child for peeping.
One of Ginkaku's men hastily dodged Jiraiya's sudden Fire Release attack. Just as he landed, he felt a chill at his throat. His body instinctively arched backward, but he failed to evade the fatal strike. Blood gushed from his neck.
One kill!
Jiraiya's figure faintly emerged, the kunai in his hand reflecting the cold moonlight. Half a second later, he vanished into the pitch-black night once again.
Hearing the sound of a body hitting the ground, Ginkaku's remaining men immediately grew alert and intensified their attacks on Tsunade and Orochimaru, who were still in sight.
Tsunade and Orochimaru not only had to keep themselves safe, but also protect Dan Katō, who lay motionless behind them. The pressure on them mounted.
"Pfft."
With a soft sound, Jiraiya struck for the second time, killing another enemy besieging Tsunade and Orochimaru.
But he also briefly revealed himself and was surrounded by the enemy.
Jiraiya's Transparent Release was imperfect. Although it concealed him quite well, it consumed too much chakra, and he became visible for half a second after attacking. That was why he had not used Transparent Release from the start.
Now, however, the situation had changed. To support his teammates, he had to draw most of the enemy's attacks and hostility toward himself. With Transparent Release active, he ventured alone into their encirclement, risking a group beating to kill them before Ginkaku could kill his teammates and strike fear into them.
Jiraiya had finally figured it out. Ginkaku's squad was like a pack of dogs. Turn and run, and they would chase him down
