Fred was shocked upon hearing this, seemingly frightened by the middle-aged man's words.

His face suddenly twisted with fury as he roared, "General! This isn't what we agreed on! The agreement clearly stated that prisoners must not be abused..."
The middle-aged man shook his head and impatiently waved a hand, cutting Fred off. "Calm down. It wasn't my doing! Those lab coats received authorization from the Humanity's Contract Alliance. The higher-ups want to use these Valkyries for research. That was an order from the Humanity's Contract Alliance, understand?"

The middle-aged man nodded. "I'm guessing those people originally planned to make use of these Valkyries, then wipe them out altogether to weaken Schicksal's strength..."
Before the middle-aged man could finish, Fred stepped forward and grabbed him by the collar, roaring out of control, "Then why didn't you stop them?!"
But how could he possibly be a match for the middle-aged man?!
