The monster scrambled to its feet again, roaring as it swung its forelimbs and lunged at Lin Yi.
Lin Yi's eyes were cold and merciless. He bent his right knee and drove it hard into the monster's chest.
The monster let out a piercing wail and crashed to the ground like a sandbag, sending up a cloud of dust.

"Damn it, of all the freakish things to run into." Lin Yi gritted his teeth. He had never expected to encounter something so bizarre in the deep sea.
"My lord, are you all right?"
Meichuan Kuzi's voice suddenly reached him, leaving Lin Yi stunned.
Just moments ago, he had been unable to hear the other man's voice, yet now it sounded so clear.
Is this an illusion?
Lin Yi was uncertain.
"My lord!"
This time, Lin Yi heard him clearly. Meichuan Kuzi's voice rang out again.
Lin Yi looked up and saw Meichuan Kuzi just over a hundred meters away, his face pale and beads of sweat the size of beans dotting his forehead.
"My lord? Why aren't you answering me?" Meichuan Kuzi asked
