The Matrix's level data was utterly terrifying. Even with his current strength, he could not possibly destroy it completely.
Lin Yi looked around and saw that they had arrived in an enormous, empty room. Beneath their feet lay a massive stone slab.
Lin Yi examined the slab closely and discovered that its surface was covered in mysterious symbols and patterns that gave off a faint glow. These runes were clearly the markings of some kind of magical formation.
Crack, crack...
Suddenly, the massive slab began to split apart, revealing a pitch-black tunnel within.
"Hm?" Lin Yi raised his eyebrows in confusion, wondering where this led.
Lin Yi pondered for a moment before finally deciding to enter.
After all, there was something sinister about this place. Who knew what might happen? It would be safer to investigate first.
And so, Lin Yi pulled Meichuan Kuzi into the dark tunnel with him.
The moment he entered the tunnel, Lin Yi sharpened his focus and warily surveyed his surroundings.
Suddenly, Lin Yi felt wisps of bone-piercing cold. The chill seemed capable of penetrating his soul, making him shudder involuntarily.
Moreover, Lin Yi noticed frost beginning to form on the Rock Armor covering his body.
"This is bad."
Lin Yi's heart lurched. He felt as though he had fallen into an ice cavern.
"Ah!" Meichuan Kuzi screamed, his whole body trembling from the cold.
Lin Yi's Rock Armor had frozen completely solid, and even his elemental power had congealed.
Crack.
Just then, a crisp shattering sound rang out without warning.
The cold had actually frozen the Rock Armor on Lin Yi's body into powder, which scattered into the air.
Whoosh.
Lin Yi expelled a blast of rock breath, blowing away the ice around him.
Lin Yi glanced around and saw ice crystals covering everything.
