Solar Pearl

The Three Beauties wasted no time gathering elemental power and making their move. Things had not yet reached the point of killing. They formed a triangle around the Soldier Remains, guarding it. All they needed to do was intimidate the ordinary people into holding back.

People were not monsters, after all. They could not simply slaughter them like chopping vegetables.

At level thirty, with elemental power at his disposal, Feihu was already stronger than Lin Yi.

That worried Keqing terribly. Violet Lightning constantly swirled around her as she stood ready to strike Feihu at any moment.

By now, the battlefield had split into separate areas some distance apart.

Lin Yi and Feihu stared silently at each other, neither feeling the need to say anything.

This was Lin Yi's first real fight. His adrenaline surged, and all his senses entered a state unlike anything he had ever experienced. His hands and body trembled uncontrollably, accompanied by somewhat unnatural laughter.

This was absolutely not fear, but excitement for the fight ahead.

Word on the street was that an opponent who trembled during a fight was thinking about which move would finish his enemy off most brutally...

Seeing Lin Yi like this sent a chill down Feihu's spine.

"Fuck, ever since I escaped Pharaoh Cyno's men years ago, I've never met anyone in Mondstadt, Liyue, or even Inazuma who dared stand against me. You're the first!"

Feihu seemed very proud of his past exploits.

Instead, Lin Yi burst out laughing after hearing that.

"So the great Mr. Feihu is just someone who bullies ordinary people and doesn't dare fight anyone on the level of an adeptus or immortal. This is the first time I've heard someone make picking on the weak and fearing the strong sound so impressive!"

Those words seemed to hit Feihu where it hurt. Veins bulged in his fury as he clenched his fists and glared at Lin Yi.

He still had no idea that he was facing the true Geo Archon, or that Keqing and the others were anything but ordinary Vision wielders.

All four members of this team belonged to Liyue's upper echelon. Any one of them would have been difficult to handle.

Yet these idiots had managed to provoke all four, especially Liyue's greatest god!

"Enough bullshit! Let's see what gives you the right to act so cocky with me!"

"Ice Shatter!"

Frost gathered around Feihu's fist, and he slammed it hard into the ground.

Elemental power circulated and surged.

The frost on the ground spread rapidly, reaching Lin Yi's feet in an instant and freezing both his legs in place.

"Heh, now you can't run, can you?"

A vicious look flashed across Feihu's face. All he wanted now was to beat Lin Yi slowly to death, punch by punch, then take the three beauties with his underlings.

Having his movements restrained did leave Lin Yi a little pressed, but that did not mean he would lose.

"You really think too highly of yourself. You think this little trick can beat me?"

"Cut the crap and take a couple of steps! If you're so fucking tough, take a couple of steps while my ice has you trapped!" Feihu roared with laughter, pointing at Lin Yi as he taunted him.

"Heh, childish. Since you're so determined to die, I ought to oblige. Let me show you the despair of being hopelessly outmatched!"

Lin Yi activated his system inventory and looked through it, in no hurry to use the pistol that could kill Feihu instantly.

He could sense quite a few gazes watching him from the shadows nearby. What was happening now did not seem to be a simple coincidence, either.

"Since you want to watch, I'll let you discover what I, Lin Yi, can do, one step at a time!"

"Otherwise, you'll underestimate me and really think this Geo Archon is a weakling!"

He summoned his weapon, the Solar Pearl!

Thanks to his Divine Authority, Lin Yi could wield every type of weapon.

Sabers, spears, swords, halberds, axes, hooks, forks-anything would do, as long as it felt right in his hands.

The Geo-Forged Pistol could kill an enemy instantly, while the four-star Solar Pearl could enhance his strength and elemental abilities, allowing him to overwhelm his enemy in combat!

When the Solar Pearl appeared in Lin Yi's hand, a strange radiance filled heaven and earth.

Three-star weapons were already rare. Four- and five-star weapons were true treasures, precious beyond measure.

"What the hell is going on?!"

Feihu, Keqing, and the others were all stunned by the phenomenon accompanying the weapon's appearance.

The unaffiliated elemental power between heaven and earth was instantly converted by the Solar Pearl, filling the area with dense, pure Geo energy.

Once Lin Yi successfully formed a bond with the Solar Pearl, his stats visibly skyrocketed, only stopping after they had tripled.

That did not even account for the increase in his elemental power.

Only a fine general paired with a magnificent steed could unleash extraordinary strength.

Lin Yi now floated in the air, holding the Solar Pearl aloft in his hand as he calmly regarded the enemy before him.

His gaze was indifferent, as though Feihu was beneath his notice.

"Are you sure you still want to fight?"

Lin Yi spoke with indifference, as if addressing an ant. Even one extra word seemed to annoy him.

"My god, that's a four-star weapon!"

"Four-star weapons really exist? This is the first one I've seen in my entire life. It's incredible..."

The Solar Pearl's appearance subjected the ordinary weapons present, and even the three-star weapons, to the oppressive force of its superior rank.

That was especially true for the other three girls on Lin Yi's team.

Their jaws dropped at the treasured four-star weapon Lin Yi had suddenly produced.

"What's going on? A person can only form a bond with one weapon. Lin Yi already has that little black thing of unknown rank that can kill people instantly. So what's with this four-star weapon?"

Lin Yi was like a bag of treasures, always able to pull out something astonishing.

A four-star weapon, and Miss Ningguang's signature weapon at that. It was hard to imagine where Lin Yi could possibly have obtained it.

"Enough talk. If you won't move, I'll attack!"

Rockfall!

Radiance flashed from the weapon in his hand. Countless motes of stardust gathered around Lin Yi, finally forming an illusory river of Geo that surged toward Feihu.

Feihu was too busy being astonished. He only reacted when Lin Yi's attack was already right in front of him.

His ice shield had barely formed before the Solar Pearl's added Geo penetration shattered it outright.

His right arm was struck, and petrification immediately spread, rendering the entire arm useless!

"Damn it, you bastard! How dare you launch a sneak attack!"

"Trash, keep your mouth shut, and I'll give you a quick death!"

After wasting so much time, Lin Yi was in a foul mood. Each attack consumed a great deal of elemental power, but its overwhelming force was equally astonishing.

Lin Yi was only level ten, yet he could already display such strength through a four-star weapon. How terrifying would he be if his level advanced further?

Before long, the outcome was clear.

Feihu had lost the use of an arm and a leg, leaving him in a wretched state.

Lin Yi, meanwhile, had only suffered a cut to his cheek from the ice, leaving a little blood.

Feihu's chances of victory were practically nonexistent!

Only now did he regret insisting on being an idiot and provoking these people!

"God fucking damn it, what rotten luck. Is it too late to beg for mercy?"

Every trace of Feihu's swagger vanished.
