The same moon offered a different view. Seen through the gaps in Windrise's woods, it looked like a graceful waterfall of stars.
But Lin Yi had no time to admire the scenery.
He and Kaeya had split up, one searching deep in the forest while the other waited and watched around its outskirts.
Fortunately, the Geo Archon's powers allowed him to track any Vision bearer on the continent within a certain range.
Sensing the traces of elemental energy, Lin Yi realized that Klee seemed to have entered the range where he could pinpoint her location.
She had even stopped moving.
"That girl probably tired herself out running. She really made me work to find her!"
But when Lin Yi reached the location, there was no one in sight. Only a narrow path lay ahead, bearing faint traces of footsteps.
"That's strange. Her presence is clearly right here, so where is she?"
Just then, the moonlight shifted, and something odd on the ground reflected its light.
It lasted only an instant, but Lin Yi's keen senses still caught it.
"What's that?"
He approached cautiously and picked it up.
Holding it under the moonlight, he discovered that it was a Pyro Vision!
Lin Yi immediately sensed that something was wrong. His eyes widened, and he sucked in a cold breath.
A Vision was an external organ that stored magical power for those who wielded the elements.
Once separated from it, they would lack the magical power needed to display their elemental abilities.
Even if their innate talents far surpassed those of ordinary people.
Strictly speaking, without a Vision, they were no different from mortals.
"Klee's Vision is here, but where is she?"
A little girl was lost in the forest, and she had even lost the Vision that could protect her life.
