Qiu Bai returned to a transformed Liyue, reunited with Zhongli, and helped Lumine navigate the fallout from Rex Lapis’s apparent assassination. As the adepti weighed confronting the Liyue Qixing, Qiu Bai healed Xiao’s karmic debt and restored Qiqi’s memories, then left Qiqi in Madame Ping’s care.

• Qiu Bai awakened after another five centuries, met Zhongli in Liyue Harbor, and learned that Zhongli planned to step down as Geo Archon.
• Qiu Bai purified the corrupting miasma beneath The Chasm, then joined Zhongli in Harbor as the adepti searched in vain for him.
• Qiu Bai met Lumine and Paimon, led them to the Rite of Descension, and watched Ningguang declare Rex Lapis assassinated after his body fell from the sky.
• Ningguang resolved that the Liyue Qixing and the people would carry Liyue forward, while Lumine and Paimon escaped the Millelith and accepted Childe’s help.
• Qiu Bai accompanied Lumine and Paimon to Jueyun Karst, where the adepti learned of Rex Lapis’s apparent death and Cloud Retainer proposed subduing Liyue Harbor.
• Qiu Bai led Lumine and Paimon to Wangshu Inn, helped resolve Xiao Ming’s haunting, and arranged for Lumine to prepare food for Xiao.
• Xiao attacked Qiu Bai, who knocked him unconscious, eased part of his karmic debt, and blurred his memories before Xiao left for Jueyun Karst.

Qiu Bai helped Zhongli prepare the Rite of Parting while recovering lost power and discovering that the light inside him had become Qiu Yue. As tensions rose between the adepti and the Liyue Qixing, Qiu Bai joined Lumine and Paimon at the Golden House, where Childe’s battle left him badly wounded.

• Qiu Bai healed Zhongli’s Erosion, met Lumine and Paimon through Childe, and agreed to help with preparations for the Rite of Parting.
• Qiu Bai visited Ningguang at the Jade Chamber, then defeated three Rock Hilichurl Kings and restored the scorched grass before helping Xiangling gather ingredients.
• Qiu Bai recovered some of his lost strength from a white orb, reunited with Zhongli as Qiu Xue, and learned about Guizhong’s death and Zhongli’s Erosion.
• The light inside Qiu Bai gained sentience and became Qiu Yue, who joined him and Xiangling before later helping at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
• Qiu Bai used Qiu Xue’s form to curse The Doctor, who planned to release Osial, and watched the curse bring him repeated misfortune.
• As the adepti approached Liyue Harbor, Zhongli asked Qiu Bai to intervene if the crisis became uncontrollable, and Qiu Bai accompanied Lumine and Paimon to the Golden House.
• Childe revealed that the Fatui sought Morax’s Gnosis, fought Lumine and Qiu Bai, and transformed after failing to find it in the Exuvia.
• Childe summoned and empowered a Hydro whale, broke through Qiu Bai’s formation, and blasted Qiu Bai through a wall, leaving Lumine to face him while Qiu Bai lay wounded.
