Pulled out of The Uncanny Valley by Argenti, Martin lay sprawled in the snow, gasping for breath. Then he rolled over, no longer caring about the cold, and lay there in the snow.
I survived...
Martin felt a little drained of strength. He had thought he was really going to die.
When he met Argenti, he had originally hoped the man could take him to the nearest company branch established in a partner star system.

With no other choice, he had come along to Jarilo-VI.
But unexpectedly, as they approached Jarilo and prepared to dock and land, something seemed to affect Argenti's spaceship. Every operating system failed in an instant, and the propulsion system stopped working too.
Then the two of them had plummeted onto this planet along with the ship.
Martin no longer wanted to think about what had caused the ship to crash. Thanks to the Amber Lord's blessing, The Uncanny Valley had returned to normal
