Qingque led everyone along. They had yet to leave Exalting Sanctum.
Standing on a second-story terrace and looking into the distance, they could see a hazy sea of clouds churning. Beneath the blue heavens and the stars, a tree rose from some unknown point in the ground, stretching toward the sky with no end in sight.
The tree reached majestically into the sky, yet showed no sign of life. There were no new shoots or green leaves; it looked like dead wood.

"From a distance, that thing looks like nothing more than half a dead tree now. According to Records of the Celestial Empire's Splendor, at its peak, it 'clasped the vault of heaven, with constellations hanging from its boughs'!"
Listening to Qingque's explanation, March 7th blinked twice. After an intense bout of brainstorming,
