Gazing into Amdo's golden eyes and seeing the earnest, unwavering look in them, even Jing Yuan found it absurd-because he was utterly certain that Amdo had not lied at all. Everything he had done and every word he had spoken had come from the heart.

All was fair in war, or so the saying went, yet Amdo was a strange opponent-so strange that he was astonishing.

Jing Yuan shook his head. He no longer needed to make any further arrangements, for he had already prepared everything before coming here for the decisive battle. Now was the time to fight with all his strength.

Golden lightning flickered and coursed through the air. The great power bestowed by The Hunt shone once more, and the Lightning-Lord's enormous divine body enveloped Jing Yuan. The Divine General answered in a commanding voice, "Before coming here, I had already put everything in order."

"I see. Then, please allow me to send you all to the Mirror World."

As Amdo spoke, everyone suddenly noticed their surroundings beginning to change. The universe and the starry sky rapidly flipped over, and an inexplicable dizziness swept through their minds. A few seconds later, the discomfort quickly faded. They looked up to find a Grotto-Heaven that seemed entirely unchanged. Yet looking ahead, they could see many bloodstains that had not been there before along the edges of the Ambrosial Arbor's sprawling roots and tendrils. Amdo had left them when he killed the Mirror Holders.

He had used those roots and tendrils as execution scaffolds, fastening the Mirror Holders to them before piercing them through with a single thrust of the longsword in his hand.

"All right," Amdo said. "This is the Mirror World. Here, you may all attack without restraint, without worrying that your power will endanger the Xianzhou Luofu."
