Svarog raised his head and likewise looked toward the enormous Geomarrow vein.
A deep, steady male mechanical voice came from within him. "Calculating-based on average extraction efficiency, this vein can sustain Belobog's energy supply for two hundred and thirty-one days, with a margin of error of plus or minus seven days."
Then Svarog lowered his head, his red eye looking at Clara.
"But you did not summon me here for these ores. Tell me what you truly think, Clara."
Clara nodded. "...Yes. I wanted Mr. Svarog to see that many miners and vagrants have been injured because of this... Can you help them?"
There was not a trace of warmth or emotion in Svarog's voice. "I have already halted the dispute between both factions and temporarily taken control of the mining area. Assessment results-barring unforeseen variables, no large-scale armed conflict will occur within thirty days."
"I understand what you mean, Mr. Svarog," Clara said. "It's just... Clara feels that this alone isn't enough.
"The mining teams and everyone in Wildfire still don't understand Mr. Svarog's original intentions... If we could do more for everyone..."
"My task is the Preservation of the Underworld," Svarog said. "The trust of a small number of samples is superfluous to the calculation. Human behavior always deviates from rational calculations, Clara-"
Halfway through speaking, Svarog suddenly raised his head and looked in one direction.
"Rapidly approaching high-energy signatures detected."
Clara followed his gaze in that direction.
Then, before anyone arrived, a voice reached them.
Grizzly, Svarog, and Clara all heard a human boy shout, "Woohoo!"
Immediately afterward, several figures flew straight out of a mine tunnel entrance hundreds of meters above them, leaping down!
The first to arrive was a dark green spear. Its tip plunged into the ground, followed immediately by a dark silhouette descending
