Seeing Shawn's hostile movements, Lucius asked hesitantly.

"Mr. Black, is something wrong?"

Old Nott's expression darkened, and he snapped impatiently.

"Black boy, what? Are you looking for trouble?"

Shawn slowly stepped forward, inventing a charge against him.

"You glared at me just now. I'm very unhappy about that. Apologize."

Drip!

That was the sound of sweat dripping from Lucius's forehead onto the floor.

What was Shawn up to?

Old Nott's face twisted as though he had suffered a tremendous insult. He drew his wand and shouted at the cold-faced Shawn.

"Arrogant brat!"

"Avada Kedavra!"

Old Nott was a ruthless man of few words. He opened with one of the three Unforgivable Curses-clearly a repeat offender.

Shawn remained composed. He raised one hand, palm facing forward, and an ink-black, diamond-shaped shield abruptly appeared before him.

It was the Necromantic Shield.

This magical shield was constructed by absorbing deathly energy and residual soul energy from the air. It was one of Voldemort's favored defensive charms.

It was especially useful on a battlefield. Once it gathered enough Undead, it could easily block a Killing Curse.

Of course, the charm was not exclusive to Voldemort.

Bang!

The killing curse's green light struck the Necromantic Shield, producing only a small splash of magical sparks.

Shawn shook his head. Old Nott's strength was merely average. If that curse struck a Legendary wizard like the Old Beekeeper, it probably wouldn't even penetrate his layer of magical energy, only give him a nosebleed.

Before Old Nott could express surprise that Shawn's defensive charm was dark magic, Shawn made his next move.

He lightly curled a finger on his other hand, casting silently and without a wand.

Level five Water Prison!

He didn't need a wand to deal with a weakling like Old Nott.
