Shawn changed into a classic, fitted black suit in his bedroom, then picked up a magical camera, some food, and other essentials.
When he came downstairs, he paused at the sight of Harry's transformed appearance.
Harry was wearing casual Muggle clothes with a little red vest over them. His usually unruly hair had been neatly groomed, making him look sharp and lively.
Seeing Shawn's strange look, Harry hastily explained.
"I just want that traitor to know I'm doing well!"
Shawn knew Harry's feelings must have been complicated. Both his parents were dead, and his godfather should have been the person closest to him, yet had become his enemy instead.
Still, he was family, so it was only natural to want to look presentable when they met.
"Right, let's go."
Shawn said nothing more and led the way outside.
Then his grandmother subjected him to another barrage before he finally managed to leave.
When the two of them reached the grounds, a man in a Ministry of Magic uniform was waiting in the snow. Who knew how long he had been there?
Fortunately, the weather was clear that day, so he had not turned into a snowman.
When the employee saw Shawn appear abruptly in the square, he offered him an unremarkable broken teacup and a sheet of parchment with an ingratiating smile.
"Lord Black, here are the Portkey to Azkaban's Outer Island and your Visiting Permit."
Shawn glanced at the Portkey, which nobody would have bothered picking up if it were lying on the ground. Portkeys were made that way to prevent Muggles from accidentally taking them if they were lost or left at designated locations.
After accepting both items, he thanked the employee.
"Thank you."
The employee hurriedly bowed.
"You're too kind, my lord. It's an honor to serve
