In the white attic of Malfoy Manor.
Shawn sat behind the desk, leafing through documents as the breeze from the window gently stirred his hair.
Before the desk, Lucius stood with his waist slightly bent, his manner even more humble as he silently awaited Shawn's questions.
The head of the Malfoy family found himself thinking much the same thing as the Young Wizards at Hogwarts.
This magical overlord, neither dark nor light, seemed increasingly approachable, yet radiated an unquestionable authority.
Shawn was currently reviewing the list for the Public Trial Assembly.
Besides Yorks, the Quidditch coach who had sparked the incident, there were Wormtail, Lockhart, and others.
Most of these people had been detained outright. They would probably be the ones made examples of in the end.
The list also included people who usually presented a virtuous facade but were secretly greedy, such as Longbottom's uncle and some who had not sided with Shawn.
These people had not been alerted yet. Only extensive evidence of their crimes had been collected.
As someone in power, Shawn did not care whether these people had good or bad morals.
Those who deserved to die had committed unforgivable crimes. As for the rest, who still had some limits, their fate depended on whether they obeyed.
After all, if he really dug into things, few people in the Pentagram were good enough to withstand scrutiny either.
The public trial was merely a means of intimidation, suppression, and subjugation-what was commonly called a power struggle.
Shawn spotted another name at the bottom of the list and paused.
Umbridge?
Wasn't she one of Fudge's people?
He'd heard that Fudge trusted Umbridge quite a bit. According to the rumors, those two fatties had even had more than a few flings.
Although Shawn also loathed this power-obsessed Pink Toad,
