Caught between the two torrents of energy, Liu Jia watched the Bright Light Formation-Breaking Blade explode, despair creeping onto his face. He also knew it had not inflicted a fatal wound on his opponent.
But the ripples of energy were closing in on him, and he could not dodge. They were far too close.
His opponent's counterattack was also stronger than he could ever have imagined.
Ah, forget it. At least we managed to wound him. I'll have to leave the rest to them.

A vibrating sound rang out beside his ear, but the pain he had expected never came. Liu Jia opened his eyes and discovered a blue barrier enveloping him.
Looking up, he saw that the other three Black Armor Mingguang Army soldiers were protected as well. None of them had suffered any harm!
"What... what is this?"
Liu Jia gently touched the blue barrier before him. It felt as though there was simply a wall in front of him.
The blue barriers vanished almost as soon as they caught sight of them, so quickly that they wondered whether the things had ever existed at all.
"Right, that giant!"
Liu Jia looked up in astonishment and saw dense cracks running through the giant's solid armor from head to
