After everyone finished eating, they went to rest.
These were extraordinary times. With no phones or internet, the best thing to do after dinner was to get some rest early and conserve their strength.

Holding a map he had found in the camp, Mercer strode over to Zong Yi's tent and asked quietly from the entrance.
"Captain Zong, are you asleep?"
Zong Yi's energetic voice immediately came from inside. "Not yet. Come in."
Mercer stepped inside without much small talk, took out the map, and spread it across the table.
"Captain Zong, I have a few questions about our route."
There was a spot circled in red on the map spread before them.
"Just to confirm, Huangshi City is here, right?"
Zong Yi looked at the map and nodded. "Yes, that's where we're headed."
"Ten kilometers or so..." Recalling the distance Zong Yi had mentioned earlier, Mercer asked, "Which direction is it?"
Although Zong Yi didn't know why Mercer was asking, he pointed in the right direction.
Mercer nodded. "Captain Zong, have everyone pack their things. We'll go right now."
With the Space Stone's power, covering that little distance would be easy. Why wait until morning?
"How are you going to do it?" Zong Yi asked.
He had already seen Mercer produce a pile of food out of thin air, so he didn't really doubt that Mercer could manage it. He only wanted to know how.
"Get everyone out here first. You won't be disappointed," Mercer said, keeping him in suspense.
