"What did you say?!"
The entire group flew into a rage and roared. Who were they? Pureblood Vicious Beasts from the Primordial Divine Mountain, descendants of gods!
Humans were nothing but food and slaves in their eyes, creatures that had to prostrate themselves at the sight of them.
Yet now, the human before them actually regarded them as prey. This was turning heaven and earth upside down!
"What are you babbling about?" Xi Yue lifted a long leg and swept it out, the wind howling around her kick as she sent the God-Striking Stone flying.
"Ah! What's so hard? I'm really going to shatter!"
The God-Striking Stone struck a Kui Ox on the corner of its forehead, drawing a spray of blood. A large lump swelled amid the streaming blood, instantly giving the Kui Ox a most imposing new horn.
"You..."
The Kui Ox was stunned. It had tried to dodge, but the glowing stone had traced a bizarre arc through the air, constantly changing course before striking it squarely on the forehead.
Before it could move, it realized in horror that a hand had closed around its neck. Then came a crack, its breathing stopped, and its consciousness sank away, as though its entire being had plunged into chaos.
"Something's wrong. That stone is no ordinary thing. It never misses, and it's so hard-it looks exactly like the legendary God-Striking Stone!"
Everyone was shocked and immediately grew wary. That stubborn stone was uncanny, but the human was even more savage, snapping the Kui Ox's neck in a single move.
The Kui Ox's body was exceptionally powerful, ranking among the finest of all Pureblood Vicious Beasts. Yet that human had casually snapped its neck. It was enough to scare a beast to death.
Of course, there was no chance they would retreat just like that. The Immortality Spring was far too tempting to resist.
Besides, there were so many of them. A single swipe of a claw from each would be enough to bury that youth. There was nothing to fear.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In an instant, the area erupted, filled with roars. All the vicious beasts went berserk, divine light of every color surging into the sky, dazzling as a sea of stars as it engulfed the place.
A pair of black-and-gold divine wings appeared behind Xi Yue, shimmering with two-colored divine light as wisps of chaos energy enveloped her.
Then she turned into a streak of golden light and soared into the air, her speed reaching the utmost limit. Like a humanoid bolt of lightning tearing through the heavens, nothing could stop her.
Wherever she passed, thunder sprang from the void and Precious Arts were obliterated. Numerous Primordial Remnants were cleaved apart by the Kunpeng Wings, sending pillars of blood skyward to bloom into fresh, vivid, sinister flowers in the heavens.
"Ah... no... I'm really going to split apart!" the God-Striking Stone shrieked as it was hurled at a Golden-Winged Roc.
Bang!
Blood sprayed three feet into the air. The roc saw stars and collapsed at the impact, utterly losing the ability to resist.
"Who invented this thing? It's so handy."
Xi Yue thrust out a fair hand, crystalline and radiant. With the wind howling around her palm, she casually slapped a Bi Fang away, remembering to use a Precious Art to retrieve the God-Striking Stone before throwing it at a Bian.
The Bian was incomparably fierce, resembling a divine tiger with dragon horns. Blinding radiance shone all over its body as it raised its head and roared.
But when the glowing stone drew near, it abruptly stopped, then fled frantically. It had witnessed how terrifying this thing was and had no wish to be struck.
After struggling for a while, it ultimately ended up just like the Golden-Winged Roc, sprawled on the ground and drenched in blood, without even enough time to whimper.
Roar!
A Chi Dragon raised its head and let out a mournful cry. Its tail was held in an iron grip, and its entire body was being wielded as a weapon, smashing into a Suanni on the other side.
Soon, fully half the vicious beasts that had arrived were down, all grievously wounded, their bodies split open and their flesh mangled.
Many beasts had their limbs and sharp claws torn off by brute force. Blood stained the earth red, and mournful cries mingled with the cracking of bones and the explosions of divine arts. It was carnage.
The remaining beasts trembled. The ferocity in their eyes had vanished, leaving nothing but terror. They could no longer spare a thought for the Immortality Spring. Staying alive came first!
What Immortality Spring? What Divine Medicine or Saint Medicine? None of it mattered more than their own lives.
This defied all reason. That human was practically a great fiend in human form, ruthless beyond measure. Compared with her, they could all be considered gentle, kindly souls.
"You're not getting away!" Xi Yue formed seals with both hands. Golden symbols shifted continuously, black waves struck the heavens, and a Kun fish swam forward.
Taiyin Qi rippled and rose, sealing off the void.
At the same time, divine flames surged around her right fist, as though it carried the might of all the heavens. Golden light blazed above her head, and a roc spread its wings to strike the stars as solar fire essence swelled explosively.
She crossed a hundred zhang in an instant, accompanied by terrifying divine flames that pierced heaven and earth. It seemed as though the firmament itself had been punched through, and the void trembled with a booming hum.
"This is bad!"
The vicious beasts were engulfed. Blazing fire shrouded the area like a divine sun from the dawn of creation, brilliant and searing, impossible to look at directly.
Before long, every vicious beast that had arrived lay on the ground, their wails filling the place. Though not all had perished, they were close to it.
At the brink of death, some had unleashed life-saving measures bestowed by their elders. Otherwise, they would surely have been reduced to ashes.
But now... the outcome was hardly any better. They had no strength left to resist. Were they really going to be made into a pot of mixed stew? That was too horrifying to imagine!
"Wait! We come from the Primordial Divine Mountain. If you eat us, you'll suffer calamity yourself and bring a great disaster down on your head!"
Someone spoke in a trembling voice, trying to sway the person before them and make her hesitate.
At that moment, Xi Yue really did want to do it. Though it sounded somewhat deranged, since they had chosen to attack her and become her enemies, they naturally had to be prepared to die.
As for the beings behind them, she was not afraid of them either. At worst, she would call in help and smash the entire Primordial Divine Mountain into the ground!
"Why are you making such a racket? You're all my spoils of war. Not one of you is getting away!"
She took out a Heaven and Earth Bag and stuffed all the beasts inside in one go. As for the few humanoid beings, she casually slaughtered them and tossed them beside the road like weeds.
The White Tiger nearby let out a whimper. He had witnessed everything from the sidelines, and his heart pounded with fear, his body trembling.
What kind of supremely powerful prodigy was this? All alone, she had swept through a whole group of pureblood beings from the Primordial Divine Mountain. Could she be the reincarnation of a legendary Heavenly God?
He stole a glance at Xi Yue. Seeing how calm and unruffled she looked, he felt rather fortunate that he had dropped to his knees quickly enough back then.
"Wahaha... the two of us are invincible, sweeping all before us! Who else can stand against us?"
The God-Striking Stone shrieked nearby, bouncing up and down
, light flashing wildly across its body. It was so outrageously arrogant that even the White Tiger wanted to give it a beating.
But remembering that this fellow was the God-Striking Stone, he could only grind his teeth in secret. If he really beat it up, whether it hurt or not was another matter; he would certainly be in agony himself.
Xi Yue smiled, picked up the God-Striking Stone, and casually gave it a few squeezes.
"Gently! Gently! I really am going to shatter this time!" This time, it was telling the truth. This person's grip was frighteningly strong, nothing like that of a real human. It would have believed anyone who said she was a descendant of the Ten Fiends.
