Above the altar, the white light vanished, and the two figures fully materialized. With golden hair and blood-red eyes, they were unmistakably members of the Golden Sparrow Palace.
Alarmed, the ancestor of the Golden Dragon Sparrow Clan emerged from the void and demanded, "What happened? Why have you come out of the Secret Realm?"

One of them wept, his face pale, as though something terrifying had frightened him out of his wits. He looked uneasy, and the stump of one shattered hand was still dripping blood.
"What... did you say? Our disciples died at the hands of the Western Sect's First Generation?!" The Golden Sparrow Palace ancestor was stunned, his aged face burning red.
He had only just declared that the first disciple eliminated from the Secret Realm would not belong to his Dao Lineage, only to receive an immediate slap in the face. It was utterly humiliating.
Then another ripple came from the altar. Runic light flashed, and a young man appeared, his hair disheveled, his body flecked with blood, and his spirits flagging.
"Huh? Another Golden Sparrow Palace disciple has come out." Everyone was startled and deeply surprised.
"Ancestress, that scoundrel from the Western Sect was despicable! Not only did he steal the treasures we worked so hard to obtain, he even attacked and killed several of us!"
The man poured out his grievances as soon as he emerged. It had been a massacre. One person had charged into their ranks as though no one stood in his way, attacking everyone.
"Impossible! No matter how strong he is, he's only one person. How could he kill all of you?"
After hearing
