Lin Fan pursued Kundi into a sacred ancient land, where Kundi summoned a powerful black shadow from a golden temple to fight him. When Kundi began summoning more shadows, Lin Fan immediately fled, leaving the Foreign Realm’s kings stunned.

Lin Fan returned to find the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths devastated, then reunited with the survivors in Emperor City and mourned the many fallen. He later entered the Burial Ground, where a Burial King welcomed him inside.

Lin Fan visited the Burial Ground, entrusted Cao Yusheng and Big Black’s remains to Burial King Huo Heng, and discovered that the First Spirit Root contained one part of the Fake Medicine Seller. He took the plant away to study it, despite warnings that its hidden master could return and bring great trouble.

• Lin Fan asked Huo Heng to bury Cao Yusheng and Big Black in the Burial Earth, and Huo Heng’s subordinates placed them in all-things soil.
• Han Zhuo showed Lin Fan the First Spirit Root and explained that it was one of six immortal medicines containing the divided body of the Fake Medicine Seller.
• The First Spirit Root approached Lin Fan, and he declared that he would face its true body rather than let it benefit from him without cost.
• Lin Fan seized the plant, placed it in a Spatial Magical Artifact, and left the Burial Ground to study it.

After the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths became shattered and difficult to cultivate in, Lin Fan and the other Immortal Kings led their forces into the Immortal Domain. Dozens of their companions became True Immortals together, and Lin Fan led the army onward to settle accounts with their enemies.
