Appearance

The Treasure Wheel is approximately the size of a human head. When activated, it resembles a miniature sun 17.

  • Material: Rare purple gold 23.
  • Original radiance: Layers of golden Buddhist light wound around the rotating wheel 16.
  • Saint Weapon form: Blazes like a scorching sun, emitting golden saintly power 31.
  • Changed character: After its transformation, a knowledgeable observer no longer recognized it as a sacred artifact created through Buddhist methods 33.

History

Seizure from the Good Person Bandits

The bearded robber first used the Treasure Wheel to save his companions from Li Wangxian’s Dao shout after their other spiritual treasures shattered. Recognizing its unusual strength, Li Wangxian demanded it as compensation. The robber offered Source, spirit herbs, and purple tribulation thunder gold instead, but ultimately attacked rather than surrender the wheel 15.

The wheel broke through Li Wangxian’s first Four Extremes Seal and injured him despite his Golden Body and Sun Divine Laws. He changed tactics, diverted its force, and trapped it inside another Four Extremes Seal reinforced by a golden pagoda. Maintaining the weapon had exhausted the robber’s divine power, allowing Li Wangxian to subdue him and secure the wheel. It became the strongest weapon in Li Wangxian’s possession at that time 16 17.

Star Sect Dispute

Mo Tianxing claimed that the Good Person Bandits had stolen the wheel from the Star Sect. His account attributed it to a supreme elder who had deliberately sealed it to temper his descendants. Peng Tao warned Li Wangxian that great sects were using false theft claims to seize the bandits’ weapon; Li Wangxian also questioned why a Buddhist artifact would belong to the Star Sect 21.

During the ensuing battle, the sealed wheel repeatedly intercepted Mo Tianxing’s intact King Weapon, the Jade Disk. Its rare material kept it from breaking, but its radiance weakened as the fight continued. Li Wangxian subdued Mo Tianxing before the wheel could be ruined, then used its golden light to retrieve the inactive disk 23 24.

Saint Weapon Transformation and Deployment

At the Taiyin Human Emperor’s place of attaining the Dao, Li Wangxian unsealed the wheel and refined it together with the Jade Disk. Once both had become Saint Weapons, he handed the Treasure Wheel to Uncle Jiang 28 31.

Uncle Jiang subsequently wielded the fully awakened wheel against Duanmu Yun. It shattered the Lunar Saint Power released by the ancient Saint’s Skull, knocked the skull away, and sealed off the surrounding space before Duanmu Yun was blasted to pieces 33.

When Li Wangxian later departed to seek the Sun Scripture, he declined Father Li’s offer to take both Saint Weapons. He carried only the Moon Disc and left the Treasure Wheel to guard the sect’s mountain gate 43.

Abilities & Skills

Golden Radiance and Crushing Attacks

The wheel attacks through both direct collisions and emitted golden light 16 23.

  • In its sealed form, its impacts resembled a falling miniature sun and could injure Li Wangxian’s Golden Body 16 17.
  • After six rotations, its Buddhist light reached peak intensity and broke through a miniature world formed by the Four Extremes Seal 16.
  • Its clashes with the Jade Disk collapsed mountains and tore deep fissures through the battlefield 23.

Saintly Yang Power

As a Saint Weapon, the wheel emits power of utmost firmness and yang, described as capable of annihilating stars 31.

  • A mere wisp of its Saint Weapon aura could erase a Great Ability 31 33.
  • When fully awakened, it overwhelmed Lunar Saint Power and prevented Duanmu Yun from escaping through the surrounding heaven, earth, or void 33.
  • Its sunlike appearance does not make its power true Sun Saint Power; Li Wangxian explicitly distinguished its earlier Buddhist power from that tradition 31.

Control and Divine Spirit

The wheel can be directed through spiritual sense, and its indwelling Divine Spirit can awaken to release saintly might 24 33.

  • Li Wangxian used its light to envelop and transport the Jade Disk 24.
  • Under the bearded robber’s control, activation consumed substantial divine power; the wheel quieted once he could no longer supply it 16.
  • After its Saint Weapon transformation, its Divine Spirit showed affection toward Li Wangxian 31.

Complementarity with the Jade Disk

The Treasure Wheel’s hard, yang-aligned power complements the Jade Disk’s soft, yin-aligned power 31.

  • Li Wangxian proposed that using them together could allow sun and moon to shine in unison and yin and yang to support each other 31.
  • He considered this a possible foundation for an invincible Saint Weapon, not a confirmed capability 31.

Trivia

  • A distant woman noticed that Uncle Jiang’s Saint Weapon resembled Li Shenzhou’s sealed Treasure Wheel. She dismissed the connection because of the enormous gap between King and Saint Weapons and the wheel’s changed Buddhist character 33.
