Let me talk about how the novel is doing!
Fewer than four thousand readers have added it to their libraries, and fewer than two hundred are keeping up with the latest chapters.
Yet the word count is already nearing 200,000!
There were four rounds of recommendations for new novels, and mine was knocked out in the very first round!
Maybe my writing was just too poor. I nearly fell apart!
Let me also say something about the Ruthless One. Everyone probably has a different idea of her.
In my eyes, no matter how gifted or brilliant someone is, they still need resources, experience, and knowledge before they can rise, little by little.
I would love to start her off with an overpowered setup: she knew nothing, yet instantly mastered the Heaven-Swallowing Demon Art, and the whole world immediately became her enemy...
She could slaughter her way to the point where no one under heaven dared call themselves supreme, but the more overpowered the cheats, the easier it would be for the story to fall apart in the end!
I just want to write this well—to write the Ruthless One I envision, the experiences of her lifetime, and the love, hatred, gratitude, and grudges she encountered.
Even more than that, I want to write a long story. Never mind airtight logic; at least there shouldn't be any glaring holes!
When she finally became a Great Emperor... everyone would leave her, one by one!
She alone would remain, standing forlornly at the pinnacle of the world.
Without those experiences, how tragic would that be!
When she saw the scene of her Older Brother dying on Earth, when everyone had passed away, would she break down?
I think I should at least give her some beautiful memories!
