Charles sat before the somewhat lavish desk, staring nervously at an envelope on it.
A few days earlier, he had submitted a complete report on the operation, along with his idea of putting Earl Hall forward as a shield. Today, he had finally received a reply.

"Whew..." He took a deep breath, steadied his uneven breathing, and carefully slit the envelope open with a paper knife. Then he took out the letter and began reading it closely, word by word.
As he read, the tension and worry on his face gradually faded. The corners of his mouth rose uncontrollably, eventually forming a smile full of joy and excitement.
The letter spoke highly of his recent work, particularly praising the efficiency he had demonstrated during the financial turmoil and the results he had ultimately achieved.
With the credit from this operation, he had essentially fulfilled all the requirements for promotion. In the letter, Diamond K explicitly stated that as long as he wrapped up his recent work properly and brought the stock market assignment to a definitive close, he could rise another rank and become a core member with an official number. Before that, the organization would arrange his potion advancement, granting him the strength befitting a numbered member.
At the same time, Diamond K expressed appreciation for his "Earl Hall" proposal, calling it a good move, but stressed that this was not yet the best time to put it into action.
Diamond K said that if they were going to do this, they should think bigger.
