After some discussion, Lorne, Mill Walton, Amon, Vice Admiral Dusk, and several of his pirates finally decided to set out together to find a way out, searching for the special ships Amon had mentioned.
The Glory was too conspicuous and unwieldy, and the recent battle had left it with considerable damage. After weighing their options, they decided to sail aboard another medium-sized pirate ship in Vice Admiral Dusk's fleet, one that was faster and less badly damaged.

Standing on the pirate ship's deck, Mill Walton surveyed the zombie sailors on the distant cargo ship. They seemed to be working hard, but were actually keeping watch against the pirates. He sank into thought.

A crisp metallic sound interrupted Mill Walton's thoughts. He turned to see Lorne standing a short distance away, repeatedly tossing a coin in his hand, looking both conflicted and frustrated.
On the other side of the deck, Vice Admiral Dusk Ivan loudly directed his pirates to adjust the sails and heading, while keeping most of his attention on Lorne and on Amon, who was cheerfully chatting with the pirates around him.
As an experienced Warrior, he could sense that Lorne was definitely concealing his strength. Otherwise, he could never have been so composed when facing Ivan's earlier attack. Besides, he had a companion who appeared to be a mid-ranking member of the Rose School.
As for Amon, the man practically radiated suspicion.
