Five chapters.
Yep, tomorrow there will be at least five chapters, and possibly some bonus updates too.
I originally wanted to announce "ten chapters" with a bit of swagger, but I honestly don't know how much I'll be able to write tomorrow, so I don't dare make a big promise-it wouldn't be good to say it and then fail to deliver.
After all those twists and turns, another year has passed, and I can't really call myself a new author anymore. Although everything since my first book has flopped, I've still picked up something here and there and gained a little writing experience.
Of course, all of that has to come through in the story. While writing 4,000 Chinese characters takes an author quite a while, when you're actually reading them, they always feel too short, like there isn't enough to satisfy you.
As an author, all I can do is give the writing my best. As long as nothing comes up this week, I'll do my best to deliver two chapters totaling over 8,000 Chinese characters every day. But I do have my own life, and my time to write is limited, so I don't dare make grand promises. I hope you, my esteemed readers, will understand.
Still, there is one thing I can guarantee:
I've written a complete outline for this book, and as long as it gets 500 subscriptions and qualifies for the full-attendance bonus, I can guarantee that I'll finish it at its originally planned length. If I can't get that bonus... then I'll have to shorten the remaining story.
After all, I still have to make a living.
