The mission "Silent Disciple" Zatwin had received from the Rose School was to hunt down Sharron and Maric, those two "remnants of the
Temperance Faction."
Moreover, before coming here, Zatwin had received a revelation from the great Mother Tree of Desire.
The great Mother Tree of Desire needed him to spread her gospel to the Beyonders helping Sharron and Maric, so that they might receive her calling.
In terms that someone who did not worship the Mother Tree of Desire could understand, this meant letting her corrupt them.
Zatwin had observed them for some time-the three people helping Sharron and Maric belonged to the Aurora Order. Two possessed the abilities of a Shepherd, while the remaining one was a Marauder.
Although he did not know much about Marauders-there were very few left in the world these days-Zatwin possessed a Beyonder item of the Marauder pathway. He believed this little fellow, who was not even a demigod, had no way of escaping his sight.
But as he left his "wraith" state and slowly descended from the moon, what Zatwin saw gave him the vague, indescribable feeling that his understanding of the world was shattering.
The Shepherd before him suddenly became a Black Knight-but he was not a true demigod. Zatwin could sense that this Black Knight merely had the appearance without the essence of a demigod. It was probably a demigod-level ability recorded by a Scribe whom the Shepherd had Grazed.
Then, behind this Shepherd, a figure dressed in a black robe steeped in mysticism suddenly appeared.

Zatwin now felt that things were becoming troublesome. He knew very well how difficult Door pathway Beyonders who survived long enough to become demigods could be.
