Shao Lan and Jiang Mingran cleared the apartment Instance and settled into the player residence, where Shao Lan refused to team up with Lin Zhizhi. In the Xu Family Village Instance, a strange song and Zhang Fang’s wound began causing dangerous hallucinations, and Xu Jiawei set out to kill Zhang Fang.

• Shao Lan and Jiang Mingran discovered the Diary Writer was Li Chengyuan, and Li Chengyuan stabbed Wu Suxia before turning the knife on himself, ending the apartment Instance.
• Shao Lan, Jiang Mingran, and Pancake Uncle entered the player residence, learned how its rooms and funds worked, and noticed Roman numeral scars on their bodies.
• Shao Lan refused Lin Zhizhi’s request to join their group, then fought Xu Nan, Zhang Fang, and Blondie after they attacked Jiang Mingran and stole his funds.
• The Property Manager forced Zhang Fang and Xu Nan into the elevator to begin an Instance, where Shao Lan woke beside Xu Jiawei with injuries healed and an assigned identity.
• Shao Lan and Xu Jiawei reached Xu Family Village, where eyeless children attacked Zhang Fang before the village chief welcomed the eight players to the guesthouse.
• Shao Lan entered the Moon Viewing room with Xu Jiawei, noticed Zhang Fang behaving strangely, and later found Xu Jiawei’s apparent corpse in the bathtub.
• Shao Lan broke a small mirror to dispel the corpse hallucination, then used pain to bring Xu Jiawei out of a hallucination caused by Zhang Fang’s song.
• Shao Lan suspected Zhang Fang’s wound was connected to the song’s effects, and Xu Jiawei picked up a Bronze Vase and announced she would kill Zhang Fang.

Shao Lan and Qin Ning uncovered the Xu family’s sacrifice plot and escaped the village with Xu Xiaocai, whose final wish freed the Mother Ming sisters. Back in the building, Shao Lan reunited with Pancake Uncle and Jiang Mingran, stocked up on security doors, and prepared to enter an instance with Jiang Mingran.

• Xu Nan reported Song Liru missing, and Shao Lan suspected Xu Jiaojiao and Xu Zijian had killed her.
• Shao Lan and Qin Ning discovered that the village used Blind Fish Fry and the Sacrificial Song to turn outsiders into sacrifices, and they found Song Liru’s corpse in the sea.
• Blind Fish devoured Xu Nan after Xu Jiawei locked him in a bait barrel, and the villagers later drowned Xu Jiaojiao after Qin Ning blinded Zhang Fang.
• Xu Xiaocai told Shao Lan that her mother had sought the truth about Mother Ming, then joined Shao Lan and Qin Ning in their escape by boat.
• Xu Gao sacrificed himself to draw the Blind Fish away, and Xu Xiaocai sang to open the elevator entrance before dying at sea.
• Shao Lan carried Xu Xiaocai’s bones into the Nether Sea, where she apologized to the Mother Ming sisters and helped free them, then Shao Lan returned to the elevator with his rewards.
• Shao Lan returned to the eighth floor, stopped Tang Zhang and Li Yun from taking Pancake Uncle’s food, and helped care for the injured Jiang Mingran.
• Shao Lan bought three Stainless Steel Entry Doors, and Jiang Mingran chose to enter an instance with him as the Property Manager broke Tang Zhang’s arm.
