Qin Ning and Shao Lan identified Xu Gao as the person who attacked Qin Ning, and Qin Ning set out to kill. As the Xu family members fought over who could offer Zhang Fang as a sacrifice, Xu Jiaojiao killed Xu Zijian and claimed the sacrifice for herself.
