Background / History

Before transmigrating, Kazuhiko was an ordinary office worker on Earth who watched Naruto outside work. He awoke in the body of a twelve-year-old Uchiha boy approximately two months before his Academy graduation. The original Kazuhiko’s parents had died on missions; despite being in Itachi’s Academy year, he had spent six years at the school without graduating because of poor aptitude and a playful disposition 1.

Knowing that the Uchiha Clan Massacre was a little over a year away, Kazuhiko devoted himself to training. He mastered basic taijutsu and tool throwing within a week, learned to perform the Three Techniques without hand seals within two weeks, and mastered the Great Fireball Technique within a month. He then applied to graduate rather than continue spending time at the Academy 1.

He officially became a Konoha genin on March 1, Konoha Year 55. His subsequent chakra breakthrough activated the Myriad Worlds Mercenary System, giving him a means of obtaining resources and abilities beyond his body’s original limitations 1 2.

Kazuhiko’s overriding goal is survival through control of his own fate. He initially regards his training as a desperate struggle against the approaching massacre; the system changes that desperation into genuine confidence. Even when Tōma’s Shadow Clone praises him as the strongest graduate in his class, he focuses on the gap between himself and experienced ninja rather than becoming complacent 2 10.

He is reserved, mature, and methodical. His brief team introduction gives an impression of aloofness, but he accepts teamwork during the assessment despite believing he can fight the clone alone. He also builds a daily regimen that combines physical conditioning, energy cultivation, demonic-seal inscription, and meditation 9 21.

His willingness to kill develops sharply. Initially, ending a captured bandit’s life conflicts with the values of his former existence and makes him tremble. After doing so, he embraces his identity as a ninja. Later, he kills surrendering Grass ninja and attacks allied Sand ninja to obtain their techniques, showing that village alliances and clan honor do not outweigh his pursuit of strength 12 37 40.

He can nevertheless act protectively: he rescues Kaori during the stronghold mission, attempts to escort her out of the caravan ambush, and stays behind against the Lickers while the commandos escape. Team Five and the Caravan Ambush

Kazuhiko passes Tōma’s practical assessment by defeating his Shadow Clone with Rasengan. During the team’s first substantial mission, he kills the Hundred Blades Group’s leader and the rogue ninja Jirō; the operation is upgraded to B-rank because ninja were involved 10 13 14.

The next escort mission becomes an ambush involving two jonin and five chunin. Yū and Jūbimaru are already dead when the attack is revealed, and Kaori dies while Kazuhiko attempts to break out with her. He forces open the fourth gate against a pursuer and then kills Jirō’s brother after the latter transforms into an elite-jonin-level blood-scaled monster. Gravely wounded, he loses consciousness and is subsequently rescued by Orochimaru 23 24 25 26.

Anbu Recruitment and Revenge

After recovering, Kazuhiko asks the Third Hokage to let him join the operation against Ichirō Ōki, whose hired attackers destroyed his team. He passes Xinghe’s assessment using the third gate and Reverse Lotus, enters the Third Squad as Blue Hawk, and participates in the attack on Ōki’s guarded mansion 26 27 28.
