Shisui Uchiha used his new Wood Release to build alliances, guide Uchiha Itachi, and challenge Konoha’s leadership while growing stronger. He joined Akatsuki after battling Pain, then spent a month fighting alongside the group as Nagato’s health declined and a strange Mangekyō Sharingan appeared in Konoha.

• Shisui Uchiha gained Wood Release, rejected Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō’s influence, and persuaded Uchiha Itachi to protect their family and clan.
• Shisui Uchiha allied with Orochimaru against Shimura Danzō, defeated Root ninja, and demonstrated his Susanoo during a fierce battle with Minato Namikaze.
• Shisui Uchiha recruited Teacher Chen to train Itachi and confronted Uchiha Fugaku, warning him that the Uchiha Clan needed to change.
• Shisui Uchiha left Konoha for Amegakure and defeated Konan in a fight, then demanded that she become his partner.
• Shisui Uchiha challenged Deva Path Pain for leadership of Akatsuki and fought four Pain bodies with wood golems and Wood Dragons until Nagato became serious.
• Shisui Uchiha fought Deva Path Pain repeatedly and took Akatsuki missions over the next month, while Konan grew closer to him and Nagato’s health worsened.
• Nagato began avoiding Shisui Uchiha, who continued his patrols and awaited the Nine-Tails’ Rampage as a strange Mangekyō Sharingan appeared in Konoha.

Shisui Uchiha and the Uchiha Clan helped stop Obito Uchiha’s Nine-Tails attack, then confronted Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō over Naruto’s custody and Root’s crimes. Danzō was captured after Obito’s intervention, and he tried to save himself by accusing Orochimaru of conducting forbidden experiments.

• Obito Uchiha prepared to attack Konoha during Kushina’s labor, but Minato Namikaze and Shisui Uchiha confronted him before he escaped through Kamui.
• As the Nine-Tails rampaged through Konoha, Shisui Uchiha used Kotoamatsukami to send Uchiha Fugaku and the clan to defend the village, then bound the beast with Wood Release and declared himself Senju Ye.
• Minato Namikaze used the Reaper Death Seal to stop the Nine-Tails and died with Kushina, while Uchiha Fugaku took Naruto into the Uchiha compound.
• Shisui Uchiha thwarted Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō’s attempts to seize Naruto, and Uchiha Fugaku publicly vowed that the clan would protect him.
• Shisui Uchiha exposed Danzō’s crimes and the Sharingan in his arm, then led allied clans and Konoha forces against Root and pursued Danzō.
• Obito Uchiha appeared during Danzō’s punishment and fought Shisui’s Shadow Clone, but Shisui drove him off as Danzō was left in allied custody.
• After Konoha praised Senju Ye for defeating the enemy, Shisui’s allies forced Danzō to kneel, and Danzō accused Orochimaru of conducting First Hokage cell experiments.
