Oto Uchiha murmured to herself. Just as the Senju Clan yearned for the Wood Release kekkei genkai, the Uchiha Clan yearned for the legendary Mangekyō Sharingan.
Although the man who had once possessed those eyes had become a taboo within both the village and the Uchiha Clan.
There was no denying that he had possessed the power to end an age of turmoil and establish a ninja village alongside the First Hokage.
Most of that power had come from the Mangekyō Sharingan. Naturally, the Uchiha of today hoped to obtain those eyes and restore their former glory.
Glancing at Oto Uchiha, Zou Hyuga seemed to see through her thoughts. He said dismissively, "Forget it. Even with the Mangekyō Sharingan, you wouldn't reach the Asura of the Ninja World's level. You know how wide the gap can be between two chunin, or between two jonin..."
Oto Uchiha pursed her lips. "Where do you learn all this stuff, anyway?"
Zou Hyuga stared at Oto Uchiha for a long while before saying, "Don't ask. I won't tell you even if you do. But I told you how to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan a long time ago."
"An extreme emotional shock gives you a chance of awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan." Zou Hyuga smiled as he spoke, made a face at Oto, and added, "Want to give it a try?"
"You've already tried that trick once..." Oto Uchiha's expression darkened. He had tricked her into crying that way before.
"All right, all right." With the joking over, Zou Hyuga grew serious again. "Oto, keep watch over our surroundings for me. I don't have enough chakra for the next experiment, so I need to enter Sage Mode!"
"Even you can run short on chakra? Does the experiment really use that much...?"
