"Big sister Oto."
Itachi called softly, staring at Oto's eyes and freezing for a moment. Big sister Oto had actually awakened the Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
Oto Uchiha answered softly, her gaze settling on Izumi. The girl's emotions seemed off, as though her Sharingan was about to awaken. But what had caused Oto's own Sharingan to activate?
Looking away from Izumi, Oto Uchiha swept her gaze over the civilians quietly weeping around them and cleared her throat. "Everyone, hurry to shelter. It isn't safe here. The dead are already gone, but the living still have lives to lead."
The fleeing civilians looked up at Oto. When they saw the three tomoe in her eyes, they stood and continued down the alley toward shelter.
Oto Uchiha sighed inwardly, tiredly brushed back her hair, and dispelled the Earth-Style Wall.
These villagers who had suffered through the disaster were not so easily persuaded to move. She had used genjutsu, and casting so much of it had almost exhausted the natural chakra stored in her body.
After that, she could only use her own chakra, and that meager amount was nowhere near enough.
After evacuating the civilians nearby and leading the clan's children somewhere safe, Oto Uchiha asked Itachi, "Itachi, Izumi, where are the other ninja in the clan? Where did they all go?"
"Father left a while ago. He seemed to be heading to the Konoha Military Police Force... Don't cry, don't cry."
Halfway through his answer, Sasuke started crying in his arms, leaving Itachi to soothe his infant brother. Izumi, beside him, wanted to help too, but stopped with her hand halfway outstretched.
"Are you kidding me? He gathered the Military Police Force, then refused to show himself? What is the clan head trying to do?"
Oto Uchiha's expression changed. She could not understand
