"That really was some impressive Earth Release, Chōza Akimichi. Looks like you called in new help from Konoha!" A voice rang out from across the small river after Shinnosuke Sarutobi blocked all the kunai.
By now, dozens of people had gathered unnoticed on the opposite bank. Their forehead protectors identified them as Cloud Ninja, and the middle-aged man leading them spoke loudly.
Hearing the ninja across the river, Chōza Akimichi immediately addressed the middle-aged man. "Honestly, Ryūsui, the Third Shinobi World War ended long ago. Why are you Cloud Ninja still disregarding peace and civility, refusing to accept the reality in front of you?"
The Cloud Jonin before them, Ryūsui, had lost his parents in the Second Shinobi World War. He kept to himself, with no wife or children and no burdens to tie him down, so he was a battle-crazed man who treated the battlefield as his home.
"Are all you Kumogakure ninja lunatics? Why do you all have to act this way? You invaded the Land of Fire's border without cause this time. It looks like we can only settle this through battle! Why insist on fighting when you could have a good life?" Seeing Ryūsui's expression, Còudào Dīngzǒng shook his head helplessly as he spoke.
"That's exactly how it should be! We're all lunatics! We're going to cut off all your heads and send them to your Hokage! Hahaha!" Ryūsui laughed wildly, his expression like that of someone hunting prey.
With those words, battle between the two sides hung on a knife's edge. The situation once again spiraled out of control, growing fiercely intense.
"Everyone, charge with me and kill them all!" Ryūsui shouted to the other Cloud Ninja beside him, then charged ahead himself.
"What a lunatic! Let's go too! Partial Expansion Jutsu!" Chōza Akimichi charged
