Having recovered after Ruri blocked his Tailed Beast Bomb with Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, the Eight-Tails spoke to Ruri.

Yet stranger still, the flames burning on the Eight-Tails instantly disappeared, leaving only scattered sparks. Then Ruri called softly, "Ash!"
