When Ruri walked up to the beast, he finally got a clear look at its appearance.
The beast was a purebred sabertooth tiger, with two very long teeth at the corners of its mouth. It looked no different from other tigers; only those two teeth proved that it was a sabertooth tiger.
Although he did not know how this sabertooth tiger had survived, Ruri was still very pleased.
"I really never thought I would get to see a Siberian Tiger in my lifetime. What a rare chance!"
"This is great. Now I want you to become my Summoning Beast even more. I don't want to let this chance slip away!" Ruri said to it with a smile after getting a clear look and seeing that it was a sabertooth tiger.
"Don't worry. As long as you become my Summoning Beast, I definitely won't treat you poorly. Besides, you'll be able to improve your strength with me, and most importantly, you won't have to worry about going hungry!" As he spoke, Ruri slowly held out his hand, then tentatively reached toward the top of the sabertooth tiger's head.
Just as Ruri's hand touched its fur, the sabertooth tiger bared its teeth and growled at him again, as though warning him off.
Seeing the sabertooth tiger's reaction, Ruri quickly withdrew his hand, then said very awkwardly, "I'm really sorry. I was just very curious. This is my first time seeing a sabertooth tiger!"
After seeing Ruri pull his hand back, the sabertooth tiger stopped growling. Instead, it relaxed its body and slowly began circling him.
Judging by the situation now, there's still some hope of making it my Summoning Beast! Ruri thought to himself after seeing how the sabertooth tiger behaved.
