The instant Ruri withdrew his hand, the enemy's eyes shifted, and then he stopped breathing and fell motionless to the ground. His expression was horribly contorted, yet there was no trace of pain in it. Perhaps Ruri had moved so quickly that he had died before he could even feel the pain.
"This is really disgusting!" Ruri looked at his blood-drenched right hand, then frowned and muttered under his breath.
Then Ruri lowered his head and looked at the dead ninja's clothes. Smiling, he bent down, tore off a piece of the man's clothing, and wiped the blood from his right hand.
After wiping the blood from his hand, Ruri raised his head and looked at his teammates, who were now fighting the enemy.
