"I couldn't tell-you actually have some backbone! I just want to know what you're thinking right now. How do you feel about your teammates not being able to rescue you?" Ruri asked the enemy with a smile after hearing what he said.
"Why do you waste so much breath, brat? Look at the state I'm in! This is your best chance to strike. If you wait until I recover a little, you'll be sorry!" the enemy said angrily after hearing Ruri's words.
Hearing the enemy's angry words, Ruri slowly walked over to his side, crouched down, and said quietly with a smile, "There's a reason I'm not killing you right now. You're already in this state. Killing you now wouldn't mean much!"
After saying this, Ruri shifted his eyes slightly and glanced toward the enemy headquarters out of the corner of his eye. Then he continued speaking with a smile to the enemy lying on the ground. "I have another reason for doing this: to help you test whether your teammates will actually come and save you!"
"Judging by the situation, your teammates really are heartless. You're in this state, about to be killed by me, and they still aren't coming to save you. It looks like you're nothing more than one of their pawns. Either that, or they sent you out to test my strength!" Ruri brought his mouth close to the enemy's ear and spoke quietly.
After hearing Ruri's words, the enemy slowly closed his wide eyes and thought silently, At this point, it looks like I can't count on my teammates after all. I'm already in this state, and they still haven't come to save me. It looks like I really chose the wrong people to befriend!
