The enemies instantly snapped out of it after hearing Ruri's words. They exchanged glances with the teammates beside them, then drew their weapons and charged at Ruri once again.
Now this is more interesting. If you'd kept standing around back there, I really wouldn't have known whether to kill you. This is the best solution. I get to kill you, and it's fun too! Ruri thought silently after glancing at the ninja charging toward him.
A moment later, Ruri charged toward the enemies with a kunai in each hand.
Clang, clang, clang! Clatter, clatter!!!
As Ruri engaged the enemy at the very front, their weapons instantly collided with a clattering ring.
"I didn't expect your taijutsu to be so impressive. More importantly, your swordsmanship is even better than your taijutsu! Looks like you spend plenty of time practicing with a sword!" Ruri said with a smile as he fought the enemy at the front.
"You little brat, you really are a busybody. What's any of that got to do with you? You'd better take this fight seriously, or you won't even know what killed you!" the enemy told Ruri quietly with a frown after hearing his words.
Finally, the enemy put his strength into a slash that drove Ruri backward. Just then, two more enemies appeared beside Ruri at the same time.
Clearly, those two enemies had already been lying in ambush there, waiting for the enemy who had just fought Ruri to drive him over so they could launch a sneak attack.
Unfortunately for them, Ruri had already discovered the two of them lying in ambush. He was now pretending he knew nothing so he could give them a surprise.
When the two enemies lying in ambush on the ground saw Ruri move back into that spot, they smiled
