Uzumaki Shixia joined Akatsuki, turned its black-market work into a lucrative grind, and brought Kusagakure under its control. He then traveled to Kirigakure with Karin, Kakuzu, and Kisame, where Kisame clashed with Mei Terumi’s forces and Shixia intervened.

• Uzumaki Shixia defeated Kakuzu during a caravan ambush, then let him leave after Shuinaihao paid his fee and offered future work.
• Shixia killed the Root ninja and caravan guards sent to capture him, rescued Karin from a crate, and later recruited her as his companion.
• Shixia joined Akatsuki under Kakuzu’s supervision, gained the Rumble-Rumble Fruit through a system draw, and worked with Kakuzu to complete missions at a punishing pace.
• Shixia accepted Orochimaru’s long-term research commission, unlocked Wood Release, and continued taking on more black-market work despite Kakuzu’s exhaustion.
• Shixia persuaded Pain to make Kusagakure a target and negotiated a 36-million-ryo commission to bring the village under Akatsuki’s control.
• Shixia and Kakuzu defeated Kusagakure’s forces, secured the leaders’ submission with Mui’s help, and returned to Amegakure with a signed agreement.
• Shixia arranged a tailed-beast capture commission, recruited Kisame for the trip to Kirigakure, and took Karin to the black market while Kakuzu rested.
• Mei Terumi and her allies attacked Kisame in Kirigakure, and Shixia arrived and countered Kisame’s water technique with 60 Million Volts: Thunder Dragon.

Shixia completed missions in Kirigakure and Kusagakure, captured Isobu, and returned him to the Akatsuki. He then pursued a plan involving Takigakure and accepted Orochimaru’s commission to capture Obito, preparing to travel to Konoha with Karin.

• Shixia defeated Kisame, then accepted Mei Terumi’s commission to suppress the Blood Mist faction in exchange for regular payments and access to Kirigakure missions.
• Shixia helped Mei Terumi expose and defeat the Blood Mist faction, then stopped Kondo Yano’s scheme and subdued Isobu before returning the Three-Tails to the lake.
• Shixia completed the Box of Ultimate Bliss mission in Kusagakure, stopped Gō from escaping, and delivered Isobu to Pain and the Akatsuki.
• Shixia gave Karin an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and proposed uniting small and medium-sized villages, but Pain rejected his plan to bring Takigakure under Akatsuki control.
• Orochimaru asked Shixia to capture a living Uchiha, while Obito transported Shixia into the Kamui Dimension and left him trapped there.
• Shixia escaped the Kamui Dimension and followed Obito through a portal, but Obito fled before Shixia could catch him.
• Orochimaru commissioned Shixia to capture Obito and retrieve his other Sharingan for one hundred million ryō, and Shixia accepted the job.
• Kakuzu and Kisame declined to accompany Shixia to Konoha, so Karin joined him as he prepared for the journey and trained her in combat.
