I launched this book on the 2nd. Really, I started writing it with just a little idea in my head.
So many Swallowed Star fanfics follow timelines that overlap with the original, so I pushed this book's timeline way back to try to write something new.
Fleshing out the world of Swallowed Star, with things like abolishing slavery, was something I'd always wanted to do.
I missed two days of updates midway through because I had a fever of nearly 40°C.
I posted 146,000 Chinese characters this month. Overall, I was pretty satisfied, considering I was writing while also working a day job.
Besides, the chapters are still free to read, so there isn't much need to release a huge batch all at once.
I'm not sure when the book will go premium next month. That will depend on the exposure it gets through recommendations.
But I'll build up a backlog over the Lunar New Year holiday, then release a big batch when it goes premium.
