Yun He shook the Heavy Treasure spear in his hand. Its head was gone, leaving only the shaft.
Was there a furnace behind this light barrier?

He had no idea about any of it.
Yun He frowned.
After some thought, he thrust the shaft through the light barrier again.
Soon, the shaft gave another faint shudder.
He pulled the spear back.
Sure enough, another section had vanished, as though vaporized.
"..." Yun He rubbed his chin.

He thrust the shaft inside once more.
When the spear shuddered, he pulled it out for a look. As expected, another section was missing.

Only after repeating this several times, until nothing remained but a short section of the spear's butt, did Yun He stop.
"There's a pattern. The interval is about the same every time. Could it be the same kind of flame that erupts from the cavern walls?" Yun He pondered.
He flipped his hand again. This time, he took out an Ordinary Supreme Treasure saber.
"Let's try again, just to be safe." Yun He thrust the saber's tip through the light barrier.
This time, the interval was still about the same.
The saber shuddered, and Yun He hurriedly pulled it out.
He took a look.

Even the Supreme Treasure saber was no exception. That section of its tip had vanished!
