Traffic streamed along the street, and the building's walls had long since been repaired. Had they not experienced it firsthand, no one would have imagined that fierce fighting had taken place here, or that Team Rocket had even occupied it for a time!
After passing through security, the two followed a male secretary to the President's Office on the top floor.
On this return visit, Xia You noticed that security had been greatly strengthened. Armed security personnel patrolled almost every floor with Pokémon at their sides.
It seemed the earlier incident had made Silph realize that he needed a force of his own to protect the company.
They knocked on the office door and met President Silph himself once again.
His face glowed with health, and he looked full of energy, showing no sign of age.
Silph was delighted to see Xia You too. He stood and took two steps forward to greet them, smiling warmly. "Mr. Xia You, Miss Sabrina, welcome!"
"Mr. Silph, you're looking really well. Has something good happened?"
Silph shook hands with them both in a friendly manner. His experienced eyes swept over Xia You and Sabrina, and he seemed to have noticed that the atmosphere between them was somewhat different.
He chuckled. "Isn't your visit something good in itself?"
Just look at that. No wonder he was a company president-even his way with words had reached such heights!
Xia You turned and pointed at the two guards standing outside the door, praising him. "Putting together such a well-trained security force in so little time is really impressive."
"It's not me that's impressive, but the money in my hands. In today's world, any problem money can solve isn't a problem at all!"
