Xia You sneezed, then rubbed his nose.
Strange, was the sea breeze too cold?
At that moment, he and May were riding on Charizard, heading toward Fullmoon Island, which was still some distance from Canalave City.
Before setting out, the two had tried going to Canalave City's harbor to find a boat, a ferry that could take them to Fullmoon Island by sea.
Unfortunately, after looking around, they found no large boats, while small boats would be too much trouble. After discussing it, they decided to keep things simple and ride Charizard straight to Fullmoon Island.
It was the simplest, most direct, and fastest way.
After all, the route from Canalave City to Fullmoon Island was entirely over water, with little to see. Riding Charizard was indeed a good choice.
The journey was only a dozen or so nautical miles, and with Charizard speeding along, they arrived in just over ten minutes.
Even before drawing close, they spotted Fullmoon Island in the distance.
Judging by its appearance, it seemed to be an ordinary rocky island, without a scrap of vegetation and covered in jutting, pointed rocks. The currents in the surrounding waters were extremely swift. Supposedly, only at low tide would a relatively safe passage emerge, allowing boats to pass through the reefs and safely reach an underground dock on the island.
Unfortunately for those natural barriers, Charizard could all but ignore them.
In that respect, they were rather glad they had not come by boat.
Had they actually taken a boat, they would have arrived at the wrong time and been unfamiliar with the waterways. They might well have capsized it.
Charizard adjusted its angle and safely landed with Xia You and May on a platform at the very top of the island.
The platform had clearly been
