These clones had caused trouble for many people and Pokémon before, and they were an important means of harassment and attack for Deoxys.
When a lone Pokémon encountered them, even an extremely powerful one would struggle to cope with the clones swarming over it.

Though the clones had little offensive power and could be destroyed with a single blow, their sheer numbers made them an endless nuisance for Necrozma.
Necrozma swung its two enormous black claws, shattering several clones with every strike.
