All right, at this point, the first part of the story, covering the Kanto region in the Original Series, was basically complete.
Although the story would occasionally return here in the future, this would no longer be a main setting, and I wouldn't write much more about anything else here.
From chapter 1 to the end of chapter 167, from setting foot on this land to winning the championship and leaving, the Indigo League took up nearly 350,000 Chinese characters in total, about what I had expected. Although I wasn't very satisfied with some of the earlier parts, which were a little immature, I didn't want to rack my brains making revisions anymore. (Mostly because I'm lazy.)
The next part of the story would head to the Sevii Islands and the Orange Islands, and since these would be transitional regions, I didn't expect the character count to be too high.
With Sabrina joining, there would be more romance, and probably some interactions too. (I haven't thought through the specifics yet. I'll just make it up as I go.)
