Although Magical Leaf was a Grass-type move, many Psychic-type and Fairy-type Pokémon could learn it. Gardevoir, Cleffa, Flabébé, and even the Togetic before them could all use this move.
Grass was strong against Ground and Rock. If Magical Leaf landed, it could deal quadruple damage to Crystal Onix. This was also one of the more conventional, effective ways Togetic had of seriously hurting Crystal Onix!
Magical leaves formed around it, then shot toward Crystal Onix.
What Falkner had not expected, however, was just how fast Crystal Onix could burrow!
It had only just landed, yet before Magical Leaf had traveled even halfway, Crystal Onix had already dug another hole and slipped underground again!
