Just like Xia You, Sabrina generally only caught Pokémon she liked.
Yet for some reason, this Natu, which looked so different in style, had clearly struck her as adorable and made her want to catch it.
This time, however, she finally stopped taking action herself. Instead, she sent out her Kadabra and chose to battle it with a Pokémon.
At Sabrina's command, Kadabra attacked the moment it appeared. At first, Natu tried to jump down to the ground and escape, but unfortunately, it could not fly. Kadabra caught up with Teleport, leaving it no choice but to hastily fight back. But how could an early-stage wild Pokémon possibly stand a chance against one of a Gym Trainer's main Pokémon? In just a few exchanges, it was knocked to the ground.
In the end, Sabrina threw a Poké Ball and caught the Natu with ease.
After watching the whole thing, Xia You applauded lightly and said with a smile, "That took some doing. This is only the second Pokémon you've caught since you started traveling. That's far too few! And if you hadn't just sent out Kadabra, I would've thought you were going to do it yourself again, just like last time!"
Sabrina smiled faintly. Catching a new Pokémon had put her in quite a pleasant mood.
"Don't you think it's cute?"
"Cute?!"
Xia You raised his eyebrows and carefully recalled what Natu looked like, but he really could not see what it had to do with being cute!
But never mind. Sabrina's way of thinking could not be judged by normal standards anyway. As long as she was happy!
Still... that Natu probably could not figure it out no matter how hard it tried. It had only been resting on a branch, so why had someone suddenly caught it?
